Challenging drills to build handler skill and confidence

Structure:
Each week there will be one set up posted. That set up will contain 4-5 sequences that can be done without moving the equipment. Sequences will be medium length approximately 8-12 obstacles each. Sequences will be set at a high level of difficulty. For younger or less experienced dogs is probably best to break the sequences into small segments and/or work the individual skills that are presented in each sequence.
Each drill will have potential handling suggestions, but creativity is encouraged! Participants can post video to receive suggestions or applause!
What you will need
- a 50′ x 70′ area
- 6 Jumps
- 1 tunnel
- 1 set of weaves
- The ability to record and edit your video

How it will work:
The High-Level Handling Drills course will run over approximately three months. There will be a couple weeks of ramping up as people join, during which the first drill will be posted. Then one drill per week for eight weeks and after that a couple more weeks of activity for people to catch up if they got behind. The drills will require no more than one tunnel, six jumps and a set of weaves in a 50′ x 70′ space. Not all of that equipment will be used each week.
We’ll be using:
- Diagrams.
- Video examples.
- Discussion on video you post
The group will be active with feedback for approximately 8-10 weeks, and all materials will be available for an additional couple of months after that.
Cost:
Full Participant $100 (including HST)
